Louis Smith ‘Turns To Dating App Tinder’ In Search For Love After Lucy Mecklenburgh Split

Gymnast Louis Smith appears to have offered himself on dating app Tinder after his break up last month from Lucy Mecklenburgh.

The 26-year-old reportedly signed up and added three pictures of himself to lure new dates.

He is said to have uploaded details that match his history, as the profile stated he was educated at Arthur Mellows Village College, Peterborough.

Louis reportedly included a snap of his physique on Tinder.

Photos on his apparent profile show him at a wedding, in a magazine shoot flaunting his muscle and posing with a bottle of Moët & Chandon.

Louis confirmed at the start of last month he and former TOWIE brunette Lucy, 24, had split.

At the time, he reportedly celebrated his newly-single status by penning a post to his Facebook page that read: ‘Damn it feels good to be single. Far too busy to really feel how good it feel but I’m not complaining. Ha.’

Louis’ alleged move to online dating comes days after Lucy was reportedly spotted flirting with former Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor at London’s W Hotel.

The British Olympic silver medallist hasn’t been single since December 2014, when the couple went public with their relationship.

They first met in August that year on gymnastics-based BBC show Tumble, in which Louis judged and Lucy competed.

Explaining the split last month Louis told his Twitter followers: ‘Yes me and Lucy have broken up!! Yes I’m ok and I’m glad she’s ok as well.

Lucy was reportedly spotted costing up to Hugo Taylor, above, while Louis has eulogised about his admiration for the charms of Bonnie Wright.

‘And yes we definitely want different things. And no the reason isn’t because I refused to settle down it’s very different. Have a good day.’

Harry Potter fanatic Louis recently hinted he was developing an interest in other women when he shared a picture of Ginny Weasley actress Bonnie Wright to his Instagram page, in place of a snap of Lucy.

Clearly enjoying living alone, Louis also recently revealed he had finished wallpapering a Harry Potter-themed room at his Peterborough home.
