Yahoo News Louis Tomlinson's mum told him to reconcile with Zayn
Louis Tomlinson has opened up about his relationship with his late mum, revealing that before she died he was urged by her to reconcile with former One Direction band mate Zayn Malik.
Johannah Deakin sadly passed away from cancer last December, but before her death encouraged Louis to "get back in contact" with Zayn following his exit from the band.
Talking candidly to The Sun about his mum's advice, Louis said: "My mum said 'You've got to get back in contact with Zayn. Life's too f**king short'."
Revealing that Zayn and he have since "met up", Louis praised his mum's "intuition": "[Zayn and I] will always have that love for each other...

"A mother's intuition is just f**king crazy. It always felt supernatural to me," he explained. "My mum always knew what I was feeling and what I wanted."
As well as encouraging her son to make peace with Zayn, Johannah also persuaded Louis to perform his debut solo single live on The X Factor just days after her death.
"She didn't swear much, my mum," Louis said. "She'd always tell me off for swearing. And this time she was like, 'You've got to f**king do it, it's as simple as that.'
"It was football manager – team talk stuff.'"
Several months later, Louis is now gearing up for the release of his much-hyped collaboration with Bebe Rexha – which is out today.
