Yahoo News Louis Tomlinson talks fall out of Harry Styles rumours
There's a certain group of the One Direction fandom that reckons Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles are dating – they've even given the boys a ship name: Larry Stylinson.
For fans of the band the talk is nothing new, but now Louis has finally revealed his thoughts on it all, revealing that it put a strain on his and Harry's friendship and left him feeling especially protective of his relationship with his girlfriend.
"I've never actually been asked about it directly. It's a funny thing," he told The Sun.
"It kind of happened naturally for me and Harry because a certain amount of the fans drew up this conspiracy."

He continued: "When it first came around I was with Eleanor [Calder], and it actually felt a little bit disrespectful to Eleanor, who is my girlfriend now.
"I'm so protective over things like that, about the people I love. So it created this atmosphere between the two of us where everyone was looking into everything we did.
"It took away the vibe you get off anyone. It made everything, I think on both fences, a little bit more unapproachable.
"I think it shows that it was never anything real, if I can use that word."

The 'Larry Stylinson' rumours have been following the boys for years, with Louis previously calling them "bullshit" back in 2012 with reports coming last year that he had also blocked the term 'Larry' on Instagram in a bid to prevent the fans' creations from being seen by him.
Even so, it didn't stop Louis from gushing about his bandmate in the interview, adding that he has "forever had a very, very high level of respect for Harry".
"He's great in this situation," Louis said. "He's great on stage, he's a great musician and artist.
"Harry is actually an inspiring person to watch as a businessman, as a musician. He doesn't really lose, Harry."
