Louise Redknapp may have parted ways with ex husband Jamie Redknapp, but she's shared there's no bad blood between them.

In fact, she’s said she still “loves” him as he is the father of her children.

The Eternal singer and the footballer, who divorced in January 2018 after 20 years of marriage, share two sons, Charles and Beau.

"I still love him," the 45-year-old told Hello!. "After 21 years together how could I not still love him? He’s the father of my boys.

"Jamie’s a great dad and is very proud that our sons love me so much. He has old-fashioned values and tells them to respect and love their mum."

The mother-of-two added that while she was "extremely happy" for most of her married life she began to feel like she was "losing herself".

While Redknapp is currently still single, she has said she wouldn't rule out dating again, although she's claimed in the past any new man would have to be content with coming fourth in her life after her "kids, career and dogs".

Last week saw the former Strictly Come Dancing star release her fourth studio album, Heavy Love.

It was initially scheduled for an earlier launch, however, Redknapp's West End commitments saw the album delayed.

Redknapp appeared in the 9 to 5 musical last year at the Savoy Theatre as Violet Newstead and will be returning to the role in February.

Heavy Love comes 20 years after her third release, Elbow Beach, which was launched 31 July 2000.
