Louise Thompson has once again been flooded with praise and support from her fans as she shared with them words she 'never thought she'd say' as she stunned during an appearance in Paris.

The former Made in Chelsea star has been open about her struggles both with her physical and mental health which began following the traumatic birth of her first child, son Leo, with her fiance Ryan Libby back in 2022.

While she appeared to be making progress, 2024 got off to a rough start as she faced two stays in the hospital - the longest being around 17 days long. On February 12, she broke her silence about her lengthy stint, saying she had pushed through to enjoy a family holiday in Antigua but it got to a point where she knew she was 'really sick' and couldn't pretend she was okay any longer.

Then in early March, Ryan confirmed she was back in hospital and ultimately had her colon removed, with her since documenting her new normal with a stoma bag.

And this week, Louise has been seen posing up a storm from Paris where she has been rubbing shoulders with dozens of A-listers at Vogue World: Paris. She jetted out to the French capital on a solo trip to attend the historic fashion event at Place Vendôme.

Louise, 34, looked gorgeous as she off-set her golden glow in a sheer black maxi dress complete with a cowl neck and ruffle detailing which she paired with matching black heels.

She made sure her dress got all the attention as she opted to wear no accessories while her brunette tresses pulled back into a stylish bun. The mum of one revealed on her Instagram Stories she'd done her glam make-up herself as she documented her lengthy getting ready process.

She shared a number of photos on her social media account from the evening, with her followers flocking to compliment her glamorous look. Louise's fiancé Ryan Libbey, 33, was first in line to compliment her, as he commented: "Holy f***ing shit,” alongside a string of shocked emojis.

Louise has since returned to her social media platform with a video of herself posing for the camera as she made her way around the uber-glamouous event. Across the video, the mum-of-one had written: "Words I never thought I'd say... I wore a 'naked dress' with a stoma bag to Vogue World 2024."

She also wrotre alongside the post to her fans and followers: "A stoma does NOT need to define your life. I take great pleasure in standing up, speaking up and showing up for the hundreds of thousands of people in the UK that live with one. Let me tell you - you should NOT feel imprisoned by the judgement of others. Easier said than done I know.

"Living with something like this that has the capacity (after the physiological and psychological adjustment) to change your life for the better and that can be incredibly freeing. It can also change your outlook on life. Nothing like bad health to serve as the starkest reminder of what’s important and for putting other things into perspective. In fact some of the most confident and body positive people I know are those that have something a little unusual about them. I guess I’m now in that camp. People keep telling me I look the happiest and healthiest I have looked in ages and it’s wonderful. So if you’re scared, let me be your reminder that things get easier with time.

"The silly thing is that I probably wouldn’t have ever given this ‘naked dress’ a chance 6 months ago, but fast forward to the present and I didn’t have to think twice when the girls I travelled to Paris with told me it was the best look out of the beautiful options I took with me. It also happened to be the most affordable and the only one that wasn’t couture."

She added: "What’s even more entertaining about this outfit is that I was going to wear the dress sans bra and w/ thong, because I had NO idea it was THIS see-through so I ended up being incredibly lucky that I didn’t have time to change (due to an unforeseen hair nightmare) into more ‘dress friendly underwear’ and ended up in spanx style pants… only to discover when looking back at videos later that evening that as the sun started setting it turned 1000000 x more sheer, verging on transparent. I’m glad I wasn’t aware as I was walking around the Ritz Paris courtyard with 10/10 confidence surrounded by hugely influential people."

And the comments quickly came flooding in. @msaimeeday said: "Just when we think we can’t love you anymore. You step out as the coolest kid on the block." @hjlehmann commented: "I can’t even see the stoma under your dress - incredible!" @thinkswritesrepeats wrote: "So many things stay stigmatised until someone had the bravery to open up, be real and spread awareness. You are amazing, and you look incredible!"

@louloumangar replied: "I think you’re amazing and should be so proud of yourself at how far you’ve come. Btw you look absolutely stunning in that dress." @stephchambers10 shared: "You look sensational. If a stoma can take away that endless agony, endless trips to the toilet and give you back a ‘life’ then you go girl." @savilebarton added: "Beautiful, Ryan must be sooo proud of you and little Leo too."
