Warning: This story contains spoilers from  Love Is Blind season 6.

Love Is Blind's Chelsea Blackwell isn't proud of every moment featured on season 6, but knows she has grown tremendously in the time since filming.

Speaking to PEOPLE about her time on the series, including her many fights with fiancé Jimmy Presnell, Chelsea, 31, says she's aware that she doesn't always come off looking the best.

"I think there was so much context missing from both of those massive arguments, which is so unfortunate because I look like a literal insane person when it comes to exposing my life and having my relationship open to the world," she explains. "There's so much context that led me to those points that we're missing. So it sucks to see those parts not be shown, but it is what it is."

One of those fights happened after Jimmy went out with his female friends — one of whom he previously slept with — and Chelsea felt uncomfortable about the situation. As they were arguing, she mentioned the hookup, which set Jimmy off because they had agreed not to talk about it in front of cameras.

While Chelsea admits her actions weren't the best, she also points out that the conversation needed to be had as they were just days away from potentially tying the knot and still working through some relationship problems.

"His girlfriends, he briefly mentioned in the pods," Chelsea says, noting that once they returned to Charlotte, the women were "the first group of friends that I've met of his." The flight attendant and event planner explains, "I have guy friends, and I didn't have a problem with it at all. There was no issues on my end. But there were so much respect [issues] and boundaries that were just not there. So that's where I had an issue."

"I definitely do regret bringing it up on camera," Chelsea continues. "That was something that he made very clear he didn't want exposed to the world, but in reality, this is my relationship, these are our issues, and I'm really sitting with this issue that I am not allowed to bring up at certain times, and that's not fair."

"It's not fair on either side, but just having to walk on eggshells around a really massive issue in our relationship, I had to have that conversation. I didn't care about the cameras," she says. "He was just very concerned about how he looked and how he was portrayed, and I just didn't — clearly, I just didn't give two craps."

Though fans are just now seeing their fights play out, Chelsea notes a year has passed since those moments were filmed and she has been on a personal growth journey, which included starting therapy. She recently opened up about her mental health journey on Instagram, sharing in part, "I thought I loved myself before but I have never felt THIS kind of love."

Speaking about her decision to seek therapy to PEOPLE, Chelsea says, "I never really sat with my inner demons or issues that I've had or relationship issues... I healed in such a unique way."

"I've never seen a therapist before. I think everyone should benefit from a therapist. I have a great relationship with mine," she adds. "I've taken on meditation. I've done so much for my mental health, and I just feel like I'm in the best spot I've ever been in my entire life, and it's a really good feeling."

Fans last saw Chelsea and Jimmy in a good spot as they embarked on one of their final pre-wedding dates at an amusement park. In episode 11, after making up from their last blowout fight, the two discussed their future, with Chelsea saying, "Today, I feel really really good [about us.]"

Jimmy then responded, "We had a pretty tough argument a week ago but I love you so much and I have no doubt in my mind that you're my person. I put my best foot forward with this. Are we gonna get married? Because I haven't even got a grasp with where you're at."

After pressing once more about where Chelsea's head was at regarding marriage, Chelsea took a moment to gather her thoughts. The episode ended on a cliffhanger as the flight attendant was just about to respond to her fiancé.
