Rosie is calling it quits with Adam after he left her in tears following his date with newcomer Zara.

The Welsh solicitor broke down in front of her fellow islanders as she revealed the personal trainer had talked about a future together before he swooped in on Zara.

In scenes to air tonight, Rosie confronts Adam as he gushes over his “good date”.

“I’m glad you had a good date,” she says. “You can’t like every girl that comes in here and you can’t just go off on me.

Adam replies: “I don’t like every girl that comes in here. You asked me if I fancied Megan, no I don’t. Yeah, I probably do fancy Zara. It didn’t really mean anything before you acted like a child. We’ll agree to disagree.”

Reflecting on the spat further, Rosie shares her frustration with the other girls: “If he wants to go off and get another girl that’s come in, all he needs to do is say it. Don’t use excuses. He said he fancied Zara.

“And now he’s just stormed off and walked away and blamed it all on me. I thought he liked me. The last seven days we’ve been in here, we’ve progressed in a nice way.

“Maybe he’s not ready for love. Maybe he needs to go back out and s*** another 200 girls because this clearly isn’t working for him. You can’t keep looking for more. If you want love, you need to be content.”

Opening up about her intimate encounter she fought back tears, saying: “He’s said to me things about having a future together. You can’t do that and have your head turned two seconds later because a new face has walked in. He told me that he did see me as a girlfriend, which is why he hasn’t rushed. I’m not being funny, I don’t do things with people unless they mean something. I did it because I thought this was something real, I thought we had something.”

Coming to a decision, Rosie reveals: “As far as I’m concerned with Adam, I’m completely done. I’m not even going to give him the chance to give his wishy washy excuses. I’ve had enough. What a little boy.”

Meanwhile Alex shows optimism as his relationship with new girl Ellie progresses with the couple sharing a kiss over desert.

The pair then lock lips the next morning after Alex prepares a surprise breakfast for her.

Talking to the boys about the kiss, Alex reveals: “We were chatting, I was like ‘come here.’ She was like ‘what are you going to do?’,

“I was like “I’m going to kiss you.’ Just planted it. It was a held kiss. It was like a held, proper kiss. I’m very close to bombing in the pool but I’m not going to do it.”

Love Island is on ITV2 tonight at 9pm
