Yahoo News Love Island's Dani will be acting alongside Danny Dyer
While that Dyer family reality show is not happening now, fans can instead take some respite in the announcement that Dani and Danny will be appearing together in a project after all.
…well, on stage that is.
Yep, this year's Love Island winner will be showing off her acting chops alongside her old man in Nativity! The Musical this Christmas.
Dani made the announcement on Instagram, revealing that they will appear together in the production at the Hammersmith Apollo between December 19 and 31.

"I am SO excited to be starring alongside my dad @officialdannydyer in @nativityuk at the Eventim Apollo this December (19-31)! It's going to be proper Christmassey! See you all there," Dani said of joining the production.
They will be joined by Jo Brand at the Eventim Apollo, and the show will tour the UK beforehand with guest stars including EastEnders' Jake Wood, Charlie Brooks and Celebrity Big Brother winner Adam Thomas taking on Danny's role of The Hollywood Producer across various dates in Coventry, Liverpool, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Stoke and Oxford.
Last week Dani admitted that her father is not ready for a "big Kardashian type show" about the Dyers, which has been rumoured for a few months.
"Jack [Fincham] and me are filming something for ITVBe at the moment, where we're being followed around by cameras," she said recently.
"I can't tell you much more than that for now, but hopefully the people who followed and supported us on Love Island will enjoy it.
"My family aren't involved – so there ain't no big Kardashian-type show coming up with the Dyers, sorry to disappoint. Don't think my dad's ready for that yet!"
