Love Island fans plea: Is it time for Danny Dyer to 'sort out' Adam?

Danny Dyer may soon be bowling into the Love Island villa wearing a ruff and shouting “off with his head” if fans get their way.

Viewers are begging the EastEnders star to make an appearance to “sort Adam out” after the Geordie personal trainer smirked his way through Rosie’s tears after he blanked her for newcomer Zara.

Dyer’s daughter Dani was left fuming over his behaviour and vented her anger in the Beach Hut. “How long can Adam get away with this for? It upsets me because he’s not really admitting it,” she said. “He’s basically making Rosie feel like it’s all her fault and ‘this is why I’m doing this’ and ‘my head’s been turned because of this’.

“No mate it’s just because you want your cake and you want to eat it. It’s just not fair, I don’t like it.”

Viewers don't like it either, so they've called on producers to recruit Dani’s tough guy dad to give Adam a dressing down.

“Wish Danny Dyer was Rosie’s dad's mate Adam wouldn’t be so smug then (sic),” tweeted one.

Another posted: “Kinda wish Adam had done that to Dani instead of Rosie just so we could witness Danny Dyer storming into the villa and leaving Adam a shadow of his former self.”

A third called for a petition, writing: “Let’s start a petition to get #DannyDyer over to #loveisland and ‘sort out’ Adam.”

There is the possibility of a Danny V. Adam showdown after the actor previously joked about heading into the villa to see "slice of a geezer" Jack who has coupled up with his daughter.

Danny posted a picture of himself “skydiving” into the Spanish villa for some “cheeky tequilas” with the pen salesman.

Jack has fallen head-over-heels for the actor’s 22-year-old daughter and voiced his intentions to date her as they enjoyed a night in the Hideaway last week.

Love Island is on ITV2 tonight at 9pm
