Love Island fans missed the 'Tomorrow night' preview. (ITV)

Love Island viewers were unimpressed as the latest episode ended without the show's popular "Tomorrow night..." segment.

The ITV dating series traditionally wraps each episode with a peek at what is to come the following night, whether that is teasing some drama among the contestants or revealing the arrival of new bombshells for the villa.

But as Thursday night's instalment (20 June) came to an end it was nowhere to be seen. Many fans posted messages on social media asking what had happened to the preview and urging show bosses to bring it back.

The episode had ended on a tense note because Ayo Odukoya kissed former flame Uma Jammeh. He had been asked to kiss someone that he had chemistry with but wasn't coupled up with, and wandered over to Uma as his current partner Mimii looked on.

Mimii, who was previously in a bit of a love triangle with Uma and Ayo, was left fuming after they locked lips. She said: "It was a test that he failed miserably."

Viewers were desperate for a glimpse at the fallout, but the programme ended without any hint of what was to come on Friday. "WHERE HAVE THE TOMORROW NIGHT'S GONE???? PRODUCERS HELLO????" one person posted on X.

"No tomorrow night, no see ya next time, they just ended that episode mad abruptly, like damn ok bye," wrote someone else.

"All that build up and you couldn’t even give us a 'tomorrow night'??" asked one fan.

"They've ditched the 'tomorrow night' trailer as they've nothing good to show," sniped another viewer.

Somebody else added: "I will be requesting ITV2’s complaint procedure if I don’t get a tomorrow night preview."

"No tomorrow night of Mimii calling Ayo OUTTTT???" demanded another miffed fan.

"It annoys me we haven’t seen the preview of tomorrow’s episode, it’s been going on for almost 1 week," said someone else.

Elsewhere, Sean Stone got a boost when he caught the eye of newcomer Matilda Draper. Sean had failed to make a strong connection so far in the villa, but he perked up when Matilda arrived. He wasted no time in trying to woo her, flattering everything about her and making her an iced coffee at breakfast.

Viewers were thrilled to see Sean finally getting a shot with a fellow contestant, with some predicting that the pair could go on to win the show. "Matilda and Sean for the win," posted one.

"Sean and Matilda will win, I’m calling it now," remarked someone else.

Another fan wrote: "If Sean & Matilda couple up, they’ll win the whole thing and I’m here for it."
