Love Island couple Millie Court and Liam Reardon won the hearts of people in the UK on series 7 of the popular ITV2 show in 2021, after they won the series that year and were voted the public's favourite couple. Despite experiencing a short hiccup in the real world when they separated, the pair are back together, and seem to be happier than ever.

When the pair paid a visit to Barry Island earlier this year, Millie, who is a huge Gavin and Stacey fan, was in her element. Liam, who is originally from Merthyr Tydfil, decided to take Milly there after they had both been quoting some of the phrases from the show with each other.

She has since shared a few clips of their visit to her TikTok account, where she has 899,000 followers, and is known for posting funny videos of her and her Love Island co-stars. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter

She said in the video, as the pair toured the famous Barry Island: "I'm going to take you on a tour around Barry. I said, for anyone who lives in Essex- it's a bit like Southend, really."

The couple took a stroll around the waterfront, and some of the iconic Gavin and Stacey landmarks, much to Millie's delight. She said: "Oh my god, are we coming to the bit where Gavin and Stacey get off the bus and tell each other that they love each other?"

The town appears quiet on the video, as they continue filming their reaction on camera. Millie noted: "Bit busier on a Saturday, Liam says. Right here, right here, right here. Who remembers this? They stand right here."

Approaching the spot where Dave’s Coaches sets off to take Stacey to London to meet Gavin for the first time, where the pair said; "I love you" to each other, which appeared again in the Christmas Special as Stacey took Gavin on a trip down memory lane, Millie excitedly pointed at Marco's Café, where there's a mural with some of the cast's faces. They also head towards one of the town's chip shops; 'Chippy on The Beach', where there are some more nods to the show.

She exclaimed: "They've even got some memorabilia up outside! No way. There's literally things of them everywhere." Mimicking the Welsh accent, Millie quotes some of the phrases: "Fair play", and the iconic; "Oh." They also headed to Nessa's famous arcade. Millie noted: "This is the arcade that Nessa works in, what the f***!" She adds, as they move on to the beach: "I'm literally lovin' this, like. I need to improve on my Welsh accent."

The couple shared a cute moment, as Millie added: "I love you I do." Liam replied: "I love you too." After trying out the arcade, Liam gave away all their tokens to a little boy.

Millie joked: "I did actually say I wanted some sweets and Liam said grow up." To finish off their day out, they sampled some of Barry Island's doughnuts with a Bueno sauce, and stopped by Gwen's house, in Trinity Street, where Liam had his photo taken.
