Former Love Island star Alex Miller has revealed that the 2018 cast's infamous WhatsApp group is but a memory.

A couple of the stars of the most recent series of Love Island have dropped out of the WhatsApp group before now, but according to Alex M the whole group has gone under after one of the gang posted an awkward image.

(No, not that kind of image, get your mind out of the gutter.)

"There was a mass exodus," Alex said during a recent appearance on talkRadio (via The Sun). "I was sitting at home, someone sent a message in and everyone started leaving, leaving, leaving, left, right and centre.

"It was nothing bad. It was just like a funny, hungover picture. A face in the morning like, 'This is what I feel like'. And everyone started leaving. People were laughing at everyone going.

"I don't remember whose face it was. It was a pretty face. It was a guy. It wasn't Wes."

Well, it's rather a vague account, but at least we know it wasn't Wes – who's busy living happily with Megan Barton Hanson, don't you know.

The stars of this year's phenomenally popular show were together last week in celebration of Dani Dyer's new fashion line launch, with guests including the likes of her co-stars Samira Mighty, Adam Collard, Alex Miller, Zara McDermott and Laura Anderson.

Meanwhile, new fashionista Dani has been confirmed to be acting alongside her father Danny Dyer this Christmas as she takes on a role in Nativity! The Musical.

Dani and Danny can be seen together onstage at at the Eventim Apollo between December 19 and 31.
