Yahoo News Love Island's Georgia Steel's firepit look was a throwback to past season

Love Island contestant Georgia Steel wore a dress in last night’s episode which was a fun throwback to previous seasons.
The reality star wore a white Versace satin dress in Tuesday night’s instalment (February 7), as the islanders got ready for another evening – before being gathered around the firepit for another recoupling.

But this dress has in fact been worn in previous seasons of the show. It was first seen on finalist and current Aftersun co-host Indiyah Polack during season eight.
Then the dress was also re-worn by season nine runner up Lana Jenkins a few months later, before Georgia got heads turning in the current All Stars series while sporting the same outfit.

The Versace piece was sourced by eBay’s Pre-Loved Style Director Amy Bannerman, who expressed her love for the throwback moment, saying: "This was my dream for the dress to be re-worn in this way – true circularity!"

This isn’t the first throwback outfit of the series, as last month Liberty Poole wore a red outfit that had been previously been seen on previous islanders including Tasha Ghouri.

Last night’s episode saw new bombshells Joe Garratt and twins Jess and Eve Gale make their first impressions in the villa, before a dramatic recoupling gave the newbies first choice.
With some tough decisions to make, Joe chose Arabella, Jess picked Callum, and Eve decided to pair up with Casey.
These new pairings meant that Kaz Kamwi was left single and was therefore dumped from the island at the end of the episode.
