Yahoo News Love Island's Kem Cetinay DENIES punching Rykard Jenkins over claims he was 'flirting' with girlfriend Amber Davies
Love Island winner Kem Cetinay has denied attacking 2016 islander Rykard Jenkins amid claims he was flirting with his girlfriend, Amber Davies.
Rykard claimed that things took a turn for the worse at Kem’s clothing launch for BoohooMAN in London on Thursday evening.
Taking to Twitter after the event, Rykard shared a photo, which he has since deleted, of his bloodied nose and swollen lip, claiming he had been ‘assaulted’ by Kem.
‘So @KemCetinay and his boys just attacked me because apparently I was flirting with Amber,’ the personal trainer claimed.
‘I stood there took the beatings and went home. But in my eyes they are all p***ys.’
He continued: ‘Honestly Kent boy through and through. Going home to the misses lucky she’s a nurse.’
Kem, however, has denied he had anything to do with the altercation and hit back: ‘Because he got in a fight does not mean it’s me do I look like I can throw a punch ffs.’

Sharing a selfie with his co-star girlfriend Amber Davies while the pair were in bed together, Kem penned: ‘I will not let lies ruin the biggest night so far of my career.. ridiculous.. night guys xx.’
He added: ‘Was so amazing to spend my launch with my mum dad and close family tonight, best evening of my life, will rumours ruin it.’

Amber, who was pictured looking distressed and being hugged by a friend at the end of the night, also jumped to her beau’s defence, writing: ‘@KemCetinay don’t let anyone ruin your night you haven’t done anything wrong! Sleepy time for me and my boy xxx.’
The pair already appear to have mended fences though as Kem revealed on Twitter Friday afternoon that he and Rykard have cleared the air.
