Love Island's Laura Anderson and Hollyoaks' Gary Lucy welcome daughter
Love Island's Laura Anderson and former Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy have welcomed their daughter.
Laura posted a video on Instagram on Thursday (September 7) that brought her social media followers along with the process of delivering daughter Bonnie Rose Lucy Anderson.
An accompanying caption was written from newborn Bonnie's perspective and revealed that she weighed 6.10lbs when she arrived last Saturday (September 2).
"My Mummy and Daddy are sooooo happy and in love with me, this is our first week together," the message read.

"I'm sorry it's taken me some time to introduce myself, I hurt my mummy a little bit and scared my daddy too (oops) we're all now recovering well at home."
The post included a tongue-in-cheek reference to Laura and Gary's on-off romance, with the closing line: "Please don't question My Mummy and Daddy on their relationship... this is all about me."
The new parents met and fell in love while filming Celebs Go Dating last year, but Anderson confirmed they'd split shortly after confirming she was pregnant.
Laura subsequently spoke about the difficult timing of the split, before stressing that Gary would be welcome in the delivery room.

"Gary is welcome at the birth," she explained to OK! Magazine. "He's currently in two minds so I've asked my mum as well, as you are allowed two birthing partners."
The footage posted on Instagram indicates that Gary was indeed in the delivery room during his daughter's birth and left the hospital hand-in-hand with Laura.
Prior to their relationship, Laura was romantically involved with pop star Dane Bowers while Gary has four children from his previous marriage to Natasha Gray.
Gary was recently in the news for making a brief return to Hollyoaks following a powerful exit last year after his character Luke Morgan was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
