Lucifer season 4 has cast its very own OG sinner, Eve, following on from being saved from eternal damnation when it was cancelled earlier this year.

Netflix swooped in to save the former Fox show, and the series has now enlisted Inbar Lavi for the role, and you might recognise her as Maddie from Imposters or Sheba from Prison Break.

Inbar is set to play Eve, the original sinner, who got jiggy with Adam in the Garden of Eden after getting tricked by that dastardly snake, aka Satan, aka Lucifer aka Tom Ellis.

TV Insider reports that the storyline will entail Eve pining after her first love – no, not apples, but Lucifer:

"After an eternity with Adam, she's grown restless in her marriage and longs for a less predictable time when things were exciting. Naughty. Dangerous. She misses her hot and heavy first love...the charming rogue who tempted her so many years ago. That's right, the devil himself…Lucifer."

While we don't know exactly how that'll play out in the show, we do know that Mr Tom Ellis has been working on a body to sin for in the gym, thanks to his recent posts on Instagram.

His other picture of a flesh-coloured nude sock, also suggests that the actor will be baring all in a potential foray in the Garden of Eden. Poor Adam, eh?

Hmmm I wonder what go’s in here? #LuciferOnNetflix #bts 😈

The show's creators previously revealed their plans for season 4 when the show was under threat of being cancelled, they explained it would tackle the fallout of Chloe seeing Lucifer's true demonic identity.

Speaking to Deadline, co-showrunner Joe Henderson said: "That was the big thrust of season 4 – exploring Chloe dealing with those ramifications, and how it affected her relationship with Lucifer. Both professionally and personally. Can you work with the Devil? Can you love the devil?"

Lucifer season 4 is set to hit Netflix in 2019.
