Why AMC Entertainment Stock Fell Nearly 10% at the Open Today

Shares of movie theater operator AMC Entertainment Holdings (NYSE: AMC) fell just shy of 10% in the first hour of trading on Nov. 30. Although the company has been allowed to reopen locations, it is still dealing with occupancy constraints, heightened cleaning regimens, and movie production companies that are delaying new movie releases. Which is why the Thanksgiving weekend was so troubling for owners of the shares of this struggling movie theater operator.

Passenger Bus Crashes Into Saint Petersburg River
A bus crashed off a bridge and into the Moyka River in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Friday, May 10, with local police saying around 20 people were on board.Local media reported that at least five people died, with four “seriously injured”.
