Yahoo News M23, A23 and A27 road closures to look out for in Sussex this weekend
A small number of motorway and A Road closures will affect Sussex traffic this weekend, according to National Highways England.
These will mainly be on the M23 and A27 in the early hours of the morning for maintenance work.
If you are set to be travelling along these areas, it's best to take note of different diversions that may be in place.
Here’s a list of all the closures from Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23 on Sussex's main roads to be aware of.
M23, A23 and A27 road closures for Friday, June 21
M23
On the M23 northbound way, there will be a carriageway closure between the exit and entry slip roads of Junction 10 from 8pm to 6am.
A23
There are no closures listed for the A23 on this day.
A27
On the westbound way, there will be a carriageway closure between Offington and Clapham Junction, taking place from 8pm to 6am for maintenance works.
Alongside that on the westbound way, there will be an exit slip road at Adur from 5pm to 5am for barrier works.
Finally, in both directions, a carriageway closure will take place between Golden Jubilee roundabout and Pevensey roundabout.
This will take place from 8pm to 6am so drainage works can be carried out.
M23, A23 and A27 road closures for Saturday, June 22
M23
In both directions, the Junction 8 link road on the M23 to the M25 will be shut from 10pm to 6am for painting works.
Additionally, on the northbound way, the exit slip road at Junction 8 will be closed at the same time.
A23
There are no closures listed for the A23 on this day.
A27
On the A27 westbound way, there will be an exit slip road at Adur from 5pm to 5am for barrier works.
