M25 traffic: Lorry crash causing long queues and major delays

A lorry crash on the M25 is causing long delays.

Traffic cameras show long delays on the clockwise carriageway near junction 26 at Waltham Abbey on the Hertfordshire/Essex border.

The crash, thought to be between two lorries according to the traffic monitoring service Inrix, happened at roughly 5.30am.

One person is reported to have suffered serious injuries.

There is a diversion in place at junction 25.

National Highways say there are delays on approach with 60-minute delays clockwise above normal travel time. There are also 60-minute delays anti-clockwise as traffic moves slowly past the scene.
