Made In Chelsea's Ollie Locke has revealed that his and his husband Gareth's surrogate has miscarried.

The TV stars have been trying to start a family for some time and their surrogate got pregnant last year, but ended up miscarrying.

They carried on trying and this year their surrogate got pregnant again.

Sharing the sad news of their loss on the reality show's Bali special, Ollie said: "We just can't believe it's happened again."

"This is our third time," added Gareth.

"You know, it's like, 60%, 70% chance or whatever and every time it's like, 'Oh well next time surely it's going to happen, surely it's going to happen'.

"And it just feels like every time you're going to redo it, it just feels like it's a step further away. Obviously we're in a very fortunate position, we can go again. But, you know, it's not... it's not easy."

Ollie, 35, also shared that he had yet to tell his dad about the loss of the pregnancy and that he hoped somebody else would break it to him.

"Weirdly I feel ‘desmasculated’ and I know that’s really silly, but this is me talking frankly to you guys," he said on the show.

"And I know I shouldn't feel like that but I feel embarrassed that it hasn’t worked for us.

"And it's so stupid, but I'm just waiting for long enough for someone to tell dad so I don't have to."

Ollie, 35, and Gareth, 34, tied the knot in 2020 and revealed the following year that they were going to become parents.

However, in December that year they announced that the woman acting as their surrogate had miscarried at six weeks.

The star said on Instagram at the time: "This is not going to be the end of the road, in fact we have some wonderful plans and we continue to move forward towards the remarkable gift of fatherhood."
