Maisie Williams has reflected on the Game of Thrones fan theory that stands out for her as the most ridiculous.

Cast your mind back to season six when Arya Stark somehow survived the Waif (Faye Marsay) stabbing her in the guts, leading fans to think that any time we saw Arya, it wasn't actually everyone's favourite Stark.

"People thought Arya was the Waif, which was sad. It's just me. I feel like now the show has been going for a while, they like to think of really crazy things, but that's just what humans do. We're just curious," Williams told Digital Spy.

Of course, now that the cast have read the scripts for the final season of Game of Thrones, the situation has changed a bit when it comes to fan theories that might happen.

"It's just strange as it's everything I've ever known, but also any interview I ever do ends up talking about this show and where it's going and what's going to happen, and this is it: I know what's going to happen," she teased.

Don't expect her to go giving you any spoilers though as Williams also compared spilling final season secrets to ruining Christmas when you were a child by sneaking a look at your presents early.

Before we get to see what happens in Game of Thrones' final season, we'll be hearing Williams in new Aardman movie Early Man which she told us taught her something about her voice that she wants to work on.

Early Man is released in UK cinemas on January 26 and US cinemas on February 16.
