A MAN has been arrested after a series of burglaries at businesses in the Shipley and Saltaire area of Bradford.

The man, 41, has been charged with one burglary offence and has been remanded into custody.

A spokesperson for the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "A 41-year-old male has been arrested for series of business burglaries in the Shipley and Saltaire area.

"Enquiries are still ongoing due to the volume of offences, but he has been charged and remanded for one offence.

"At Shipley NPT we understand how these crimes have affected local businesses, many which are family run.

"If anyone has any information about these crimes, please ring 101 or use the online facilities.
