West Midlands Police say they have arrested a man after dogs were used to 'flush out deer and muntjacs' at a beauty spot on the Black Country border. The alleged offence took place at Uffmoor Woods, a semi-natural woodland in Worcestershire located a mile south of Halesowen.

The 84-acre woodland is home to a number of wildlife, including deer and muntjac which like to reside in woodland. Officers say they've uncovered evidence that the man was flushing out the animals using dogs.

It is an offence in England to hunt wild animals with dogs. The suspect was detained under the Hunting Act 2004, a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.
