Isle of Wight police have made an arrest following an incident in Oakfield yesterday evening (Tuesday).
At around 7pm, police were called to the scene in Oak Vale.
They were responding to reports that a teenage boy and girl had been assaulted.
Officers attended and arrested a 36-year-old man from Ryde on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He remains in police custody at this time.
