Manchester City are the most likely club from the Premier League's top five to be relegated next season, according to the latest odds.

On Sunday, the Blues created history as they won their fourth consecutive title with a 3-1 victory over West Ham United, sealing the trophy. Phil Foden's brace put City in a commanding position before Mohammed Kudus' acrobatic effort created a tense half-time.

Rodri's strike through a crowd eased any worries that City would not be adding another title to their collection this season. Despite this feat, bookmaker Bet365 have priced the Blues at 33/1 to be relegated next season.

To put this into context, fierce rivals Manchester United finished 31 points behind Pep Guardiola's men this campaign, but they have been given odds of 150/1 to be relegated. Meanwhile, Arne Slot's new club, Liverpool, are a whopping 2000/1 to be relegated to the Championship.

Such low odds for City to drop out of the top flight could emanate from the unresolved 115 Financial Fair Play (FFP) charges that hang over the club. In February 2023, the Blues were accused of historical breaches of the regulations.

The accusations mainly revolved around City providing inaccurate financial information to the Premier League regarding payments to players and managers. City have vehemently denied the allegations presented by the division and are believed to be keen to argue their case at a hearing.

However, when they will get this opportunity is unclear, as the Premier League's CEO has failed to announce when the hearing will be. Should the Blues be found guilty of the charges, their punishment is likely to be serious.

It would be unprecedented for a club to be in breach of this many charges, and speculation has suggested that immediate relegation or a substantial points deduction could be handed to City.
