Man flown to hospital with serious injuries after incident with car on Anglesey

A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after an incident "involving a vehicle" outside a property on Anglesey. Police, firefighters and air ambulances were called to Rhosdir, Gaerwen on Thursday morning.

North Wales Police confirmed a man had been airlifted to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. A police statement said: "Police were called at 9.11am today by the ambulance service reporting an isolated incident involving a vehicle outside a residential property in Rhosdir, Gaerwen."

"The emergency services attended and a man, in his 20s, has been airlifted to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries." The Wales Air Ambulance also confirmed its attendance at the scene.

A spokesperson said: "I can confirm that the Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in that region today (27/06/24). Our Caernarfon and Welshpool based crews were allocated at 09:10 and attended by air."

"They arrived at the scene at 09:25. Our involvement concluded at 10:52." North Wales Fire and Rescue Service also confirmed it was called to the scene at 9.13am.
