Man injured in gang attack by four men in city centre

A man was injured in an attack by a gang of four men in Oxford city centre.

The victim, who was with a group of girls outside Starbucks opposite Greggs on Cornmarket Street, was assaulted between 12.15am and 12.18am on December 30.

Police said the group may have been throwing bags of rubbish at people and into the roads in the area leading up to the attack.
