Man pushed to ground before having smartphone stolen in Yatton alleyway
A man was pushed to the ground before having his black Alcatel smartphone stolen in an alleyway in Yatton. Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police are appealing to the public for information on the robbery.
Police said the victim was walking down an alleyway in Mendip Road between 7.30am and 9am on Thursday, April 11, when he was pushed by an unknown man. The offender tried to punch him and the pair ended up on the floor, before he grabbed the victim's phone and ran away.
The suspect is described as white/black, of large build, and between 5ft 9ins and 5ft 11ins tall. He was wearing a blue hoodie and tracksuit bottoms.

Avon and Somerset Police said in a public appeal: "If you were in the area and saw the incident, or have any dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage along Ashleigh Crescent or Mendip Road, please contact us.
