Man Stabbed After Accusing Attacker Of Stealing Potato Chips From Child’s Plate

A man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing someone who accused him of stealing potato chips from a child’s plate.

Clarence Dorn Jr, 56, was arrested by police in Portland, Oregon on Saturday night on suspicion of stabbing a man in the neck at an apartment block in North Fiske Avenue.

Dorn is suspected of stabbing Robert Alexander, 30, after Mr Alexander accused him of taking the crisps from a child.

Mr Alexander was taken to hospital but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police found Dorn in a nearby park and he was taken into custody. He was later charged with second degree assault.

Police said the suspect and the victim knew each other and that the alleged assault was not a random act.
