'Man stopped by police' in Worcester City Centre

AT least four police officers stopped a man in Worcester City Centre this afternoon.

An eyewitness said there was a police van with several officers at the bottom of Copenhagen Street at around 3pm on Thursday, June 27.

The officers had hold of a man.

Police appeared to be talking to people in nearby bars in the area.

We contacted West Mercia Police but they said they couldn't find anything on their system and didn't have anybody in custody arrested at that location.
