Man Tasered by Police After Crash and Clash at Indiana Race Event

Police intervened on October 14 after two drivers clashed both in an out of their stock cars at an Indiana race event, with one man driving up and onto the hood of his opponent in apparent retaliation for getting spun off the track.

The drivers were named in local reports as Jeffrey Swinford and Shawn Cullen.

As seen in this video, shortly after the race started, following a restart, Swinford’s car spun out but he accelerated to catch up with Cullen before driving up onto Cullen’s hood. Cullen got out of his car unhurt and threw punches as his opponent before police arrived, tasered him and led him away in handcuffs.

Swinford was charged with “Class A misdemeanor criminal recklessness,” while Cullen was cited for “disorderly conduct,” the Herald Bulletin reported.
