It's Man Versus Tram in Stop-to-Stop Race

An Adelaide man really brightened up his fellow commuters’ day when he decided to race a tram from stop to stop after his friends bet he would not be able to do it.

Video of the feat opens with Austin Edwards ready in his running gear as the tram pulls in at the network’s Stop 14 in Glenelg East. Soon, he is sprinting after the tram, and looks like he might not catch it at Stop 15.

But Edwards arrives in the nick of time, to a hero’s welcome from everyone on board.

It’s high-fives all round until Edwards pauses to ask, “Anyone got any water?”

“That’s a win,” Edwards’s friend concludes. Credit: Austin Edwards via Storyful
