Manchester Airport passengers are being warned as a number of flights due to land at the airport have been cancelled this week.

It comes as Aer Lingus pilots started an indefinite work-to-rule at midnight on Wednesday in an ongoing dispute over pay. This means pilots will not work overtime or carry out any other duties out-of-hours.

There is also an eight-hour strike planned from 5am to 1pm on Saturday, June 29.

  • Thursday, June 27: Dublin - Manchester, EI0208, 12.50pm

  • Friday, June 28: Dublin - Manchester, EI0208, 12.50pm

  • Saturday, June 29: Dublin - Manchester, EI0202, 6.30am

  • Monday, July 1: Dublin - Manchester, EI0208, 12.50pm

  • Tuesday, July 2: Dublin - Manchester, EI0208, 12.50pm

The flight operator said all Aer Lingus Regional flights (operated by Emerald Airlines) and Aer Lingus UK transatlantic flights to and from Manchester will operate as scheduled, and added: "This work to rule industrial action by IALPA pilots will also not impact transatlantic flights scheduled to/from Manchester.

"Direct flights between Manchester and New York JFK and Orlando are operated by Aer Lingus UK."
