Manchester United Women will be parading the FA Cup trophy around the pitch on Saturday afternoon following their Women's Super League final day clash with Chelsea.

The Reds created history last weekend when they comprehensively defeat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 at Wembley Stadium to lift the trophy for the very first time. Goals from Ella Toone, Rachel Williams and a Lucia Garcia brace secured a momentous day for Marc Skinner's side.

To celebrate the accomplishment, United's squad will parade the trophy around the pitch to the supporters at Old Trafford. It will not be the only silverware at the Theatre of Dreams though as before kick off the Women’s Player of the Year, Goal of the Season and Player’s Player of the Year award winners are set to be celebrated pitchside. The trophy-winning U21s & U16s will also step out at half time to celebrate Women's Academy success.

While it will be a day of celebration for United, it could also be a brilliant day for Chelsea who are currently top of the WSL on goal difference. Should Emma Hayes' side beat United and Manchester City fail to win or win by fewer than three goals to Chelsea, they will be crowned champions.

Whatever the outcome, it will be an emotional day for Hayes who will be managing Chelsea for the final time as she prepares to take on a new challenge with the United States national team. In recognition of her achievements with the Blues, Hayes shall receive a gift from Skinner on behalf of United before the game.

More than 30,000 fans are expected to be inside Old Trafford for the end-of-season game and tickets are still on sale if you wish to join them. Adult tickets are £15 with concessions priced at £7.50 and they can be purchased here.
