A man was threatened at a London Underground station by four yobs who said they would stab him if he did not give them his phone.

Detectives on Tuesday issued CCTV images of four males they want to speak to following a robbery, which happened at St James’s Park Underground station in Westminster the day after Boxing Day.

The victim was waiting on the station's westbound platform around 6.30pm on Deember 27, when he was approached by several people

They "demanded he hand over his phone while assaulting him, threatening to stab the victim in front of [his] partner", said British Transport Police (BTP) in a statement.

"The victim managed to break free, grabbing the phone back after it had been snatched from their hand, before boarding the train and departing.

"Officers would like to speak to the men in the images as they believe they may have information that could help their investigation."

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 644 of 27/12/2023.
