'Mariupol is Ukraine': residents react to 'fake' referendum

Residents who were forced to flee the Ukrainian city of Mariupol have gathered in the capital Kyiv, as their hometown holds a Kremlin-organised referendum on whether it should become part of Russia. Reacting to the vote, one man said: "It's fake, nobody will believe somebody in Mariupol would really want to live in Russian Federation," while a woman simply stated "Mariupol is Ukraine".
