Mark-Francis Vandelli Has To Have Another Operation After Suffering 'The Jump' Injury

Poor Mark-Francis Vandelli was just one of the many celebs to fall victim to skiing reality TV show ‘The Jump’, and it has now been revealed that he needs to undergo another operation before the healing process can truly begin.

OUCH.

The Made In Chelsea star was forced to quit the show after he broke his ankle four weeks ago, and has admitted that he still has a long way to go to recovery.

Mark explained to Star magazine: “I’ve had surgery. I have eight screws in my ankle and I need another operation. I’m in a cast for a couple of months, I can’t really do anything!

"But it was a great experience. I loved every minute of it.”

Well, every minute until his ankle snapped we’d assume…

The 27-year-old suffered the injury while battling it out in the Snow Cross Challenge during a live episode, and he is far from the only contestant to still be fighting his injury long after it happened.

Beth Tweedle broke her back when she landed awkwardly on her spine after smashing into a barrier and is still undergoing rehabilitation and Rebecca Adlington’s arm remains in a sling after dislocating her shoulder in the Air Jump.

Actress Tina Holbey is also still wearing a cast after dislocating her elbow and fracturing her arm when the show’s crew failed to vacate her landing area.

It really is enough to put us off skiing for life.
