Mark Ronson dresses up as King Princess for Glastonbury set
The say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so Mark Ronson was obviously paying King Princess a massive complement when he took to the Glastonbury stage dressed as her today.
Ronson had hinted in interviews just last week that he might appear on stage at Glastonbury with some of the singers on his new album Late Night Feelings. But he still managed to surprise fans at the festival when he appeared dressed in a very similar way to the Brooklyn musician.
This is AMAZING! ❤️😅

Anticipation started to build when the American singer-songwriter announced that she had an “extra special guest” joining her on the Park stage.
“He's a legend,” she continued. “He's my father. He's a King Princess impersonator at the weekend in Vegas – and here he is – Mark Ronson.”
The record producer then appeared in a curly brown bobbed wig, a vest top and matching black tracksuit pants – mirroring King Princess’ own Glastonbury outfit – to play their track Pieces of Us.
The BBC were quick to post a GIF of Ronson casually clicking his fingers along to the track with the caption.
“OMG it's @MarkRonson cosplaying as @KingPrincess69!”

Once off stage, Ronson saw the Twitter post responding with the comment, “#1 way to look like a dad at Glastonbury is to dress like your daughter.”
Before posting to his own account that “it was an honour” to join the young singer on stage.

Glastonbury fans were quick to celebrate the homage, with one commenting “they look the same!” and another requesting that Ronson do the same the next time Lady Gaga played their Oscar-winning track Shallow.
