Mark Wright's Friend Who Allegedly Attacked Danny Dyer Is A Dodgy Businessman Who Conned Clients

It has been claimed that one of Mark Wright’s friends who attacked EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer at V Festival is a dodgy businessman who was fired from his company after duping clients out of a staggering £1.7million.

28-year-old Eren Metcalfe was allegedly among the five men who left Danny with a black eye and squared up to his twenty-year-old daughter, with it now being reported that he was disqualified from being a company director for fourteen years in 2014 after his firm found out about his dodgy land investments.

According to The Sun, Eren carried out land banking scams which were said to “bring misery to unsuspecting members of the public” and he also had “unexplained payments and deficiencies in his accounts”.

The scam was said to involve selling worthless plots of lands that could never get planning permission at a huge mark-up to unsuspecting clients.

Other alleged attackers include Mark’s cousin, Georgie Wright, and Anthony Allen and Freddie Akehurst, none of which have commented on the accusations.

Danny took to social media to blast Mark and the gang for kicking him in the head as his helpless daughter watched on, with it being thought that Mark had taken offence to a comment that the actor had made that appeared to mock his yogurt adverts.

Prior to the attack, Mark’s cousin had revealed on Twitter that Mark had slapped Danny at a charity football match, with Danny urging the former TOWIE star to name and shame his friends who attacked him.

Mark has refused to comment on the case other than to deny that he was involved in any “physical confrontation” - a fact that Danny agreed with as his wife-to-be, Joanne Mas, claimed that Mark was “egging on his bunch of idiot friends all day”.
