Marvel star Jeremy Renner looks set to release new music inspired by his snowplough accident earlier this year.

The Hawkeye star suffered severe injuries including major trauma, 30 broken bones and blood loss after being run over by the vehicle on New Year's Day, and has been documenting his recovery journey since.

Renner has now taken to Instagram to tease a "deeply moving" new collection of music called 'Love and Titanium', which has been "cathartic" for him to create.

"A collection of music we wrote about different milestones in my journey of recovery since Jan 1st this year," he wrote on Instagram.

"'Love and Titanium' has been painful, deeply healing, and ultimately cathartic for me to create. I hope I get the courage to share with you all. #loveandtitanium @wafanasieff @leeannajamesmusic @bsamzmusic @jasonmater @jeffbonilla".

Following the accident earlier this year, Renner sat down for an interview with Diane Sawyer to speak about the horrific ordeal, revealing that he was "writing down notes in [his] phone" in the hospital and wrote his "last words to [his] family".

The actor also shared that he likely would've died if he was there on his own and his nephew wasn't there to help him.

"If I was there, on my own, that would've been a horrible way to die," the star said. "And surely, I would've. Surely. But I wasn't alone – [I was with] my nephew. Sweet Alex. And the rest of the calvary came."

Reflecting further on his journey, Renner admitted that he had "lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience", though he has "been refuelled and refilled with love and titanium".
