Marvel's Spider-Man 2 developer apologises over Miles Morales flag error
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 developer Insomniac Games has apologised for the Miles Morales flag error, while confirming that it has been fixed in a patch.
The PlayStation 5 exclusive game has been a major critical and commercial success, with social media full of people sharing all the Marvel Easter eggs and all the little details of the expanded New York City.
Fans did notice that the flags in and around the Morales family apartment were Cuban, when the family are Puerto Rican. The flag designs are very similar, but the colours are the other way around.
Today's patch corrects an error where the Cuban flag was incorrectly displayed instead of the Puerto Rican flag. We understand that accurate representation matters, and greatly regret this error. We sincerely apologize and will do better in the future.

The patch notes explain that the latest update also fixes issues with models not appearing after long play sessions, where The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Suit's Spider logo appears too bright, and general improvement to game stability.
This writer has experienced a few audio and visual bugs, and moments where a prompt won't appear which requires reloading the checkpoint.
There is also a beneficial bug in which players can instantly complete the Symbiote Nest side missions by starting them while wearing one of Peter's regular suits, and switching to a Symbiote suit once the timer appears.
