Mary Berry returns to BBC with brand new cooking show

Former Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry is set to present a new six-part series on BBC Two next year, revealing cooking tips and short cuts from across her career.

Mary Berry’s Everyday will see the culinary queen produce quick dishes, family favourites and special occasion menus while sharing easy recipes that have helped to shape her cooking over the past six decades.

Patrick Holland, Channel Editor, BBC Two, said in a press released: “I am thrilled that Mary is returning to BBC Two to share her magic. Her everyday recipes are inspirational and delicious and her series will be a real treat for the audience.”

In case you needed an additional reason to tune in, Karen Moss, managing director of production company Sidney Street who was executive producer on the Mary Berry’s Absolute Favourites and Foolproof Cooking, added: “This is Mary Berry at her best.”

She continued: “Delicious, inspirational food cooked with the flair, warmth, humour and endless energy of the country’s best loved cook.”

This announcement comes less than two weeks after it was revealed Mary, 81, would present another new show, Mary Berry’s Secrets From Britain’s Great Houses, on BBC One.

During this series, the beloved baker will tour the UK’s stately homes, exploring their pasts through the examination of their gardens, kitchens and private rooms while cooking up dishes inspired by her surroundings.

Phew! It certainly sounds like our Bezza has had her fingers in a lot of pies ever since her Bake Off departure.

Mary Berry Everyday will broadcast on BBC Two in early 2017.
