Mary Lou Retton is feeling the holiday spirit!

The Olympic gymnast, 55, who spent several weeks "fighting for her life" in the ICU at a Texas hospital in October, commemorated her Christmas by sharing a sweet photo of her kids on Instagram.

On Tuesday, Retton documented the holiday with a photo of her mini-me daughters Skyla, Emma, McKenna and Shayla, whom she shares with ex-husband Shannon Kelley.

"Merry Christmas 🎄🎁," the gymnast captioned the post, a mirror selfie of the four daughters sporting matching Christmas-light headbands.

The retired athlete's return home comes as a relief to her family and friends, who came together two months ago to support the decorated former gymnast during her health crisis.

Her daughter, McKenna, 26, was the first to break the news that her mother was in a Houston-area hospital in early October.

“My amazing mom, Mary Lou, has a very rare form of pneumonia and is fighting for her life," she wrote in a message on a Spotfund fundraising page for Retton, which has raised over $459,000 — well over its initial $50,000 goal.

At the time, Retton’s eldest daughter, Shayla, 28, voiced that her family’s No. 1 concern was “the well-being of our mom” in a statement to PEOPLE.

After the retired gymnast was released from the hospital in late October, Shayla shared her gratitude in a statement on social media.

“Mom is HOME & in recovery mode,” Kelley wrote on Instagram. “We still have a long road of recovery ahead of us, but baby steps.”

“We are overwhelmed with the love and support from everyone," she continued. "Grateful doesn’t scrape the surface of the posture of our hearts.”

Last month, Retton celebrated Thanksgiving with her loved ones and took the time to thank her family for their support during her health scare.

“The love and support of my four amazing daughters have been a source of strength and inspiration throughout my journey,” Retton wrote on Instagram alongside a carousel of photos of her girls.

“Their presence in my life is a testament to the incredible bonds of family," she added.

"My extended family, all of you, have shown me immeasurable kindness, offering prayers, encouragement and unwavering support during my challenging times. Your love has been a beacon of hope in my life," the post concluded.
