The ball game saw teams of contestants trying to get a tyre into a goal in thick, swampy mud.
Kaneswaran said the other players “squish” you down and that at one point he was “scared”.
Hancock said: “There was one moment when I pulled Siva's head out of the mud by his hair, because we were in a massive pile.”
The MP said he was close to the bottom of the pile of people too, and could “see that his (Kaneswaran's) face was underwater and he couldn't get his head up because there were people everywhere”.
“So I grabbed the back of his hair and yanked him up so he could breathe,” he said.
Hancock - who also did a stint in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here - has said Celeb SAS was "like nothing else".
