McDonald's unveils new menu items for 50th birthday including old favourites
McDonald's is gearing up for a major menu revamp to celebrate its 50th anniversary in the UK, bringing back some old favourites and introducing several new items.
Starting from July 17, the fast-food giant will be adding new and returning items to their offerings. Among these are the Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry and Munchies Cookie Dough McFlurry, which will set you back £2.19, or £1.59 for a mini version.
The Birthday Cake Donut, a fresh addition to the menu, boasts a strawberry-flavoured filling and buttercream-flavoured icing. This sugary delight will cost £1.99, with 20p from each sale being donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.

Also making their debut are the Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, served with tomato dip, priced at £2.39. Old favourites making a comeback include the Double Big Mac (£5.39), the Double Big Mac with Bacon (£6.19), and the McCrispy barbecue Smokehouse (£5.59).
All burgers will also be available as part of a meal deal for an extra charge. A McDonald's spokesperson also confirmed the McDonald's Chicken Sharebox and the 9 Chicken Selects Sharebox will be remaining on its menu.
The new menu will be available from Wednesday, July 17, at all UK restaurants.
