Yahoo News McVitie's Digestives Have A New Strawberries And Cream Flavour
As if the news about the new pineapple Jaffa Cakes wasn’t exciting enough, McVitie’s has also launched not one, not two, but THREE new digestives flavours.
Those legends over at McVitie’s have launched cherry bakewell, marmalade on toast and – our personal favourite – strawberries and cream versions of the iconic milk chocolate digestives. And if we don’t get to try some soon, we think we might burst.
The biscuits have been spotted at Morrisons, and are on sale for £1.50 for a 250g packet.

Sweet Reviews UK posted about the strawberries and cream flavoured digestives, and gave their opinion on the unusual biscuits.
They said: “These digestives are super cool! As soon as you open the pack you are hit with this sweet strawberry flavour and they definitely remind us of strawberries and cream. They are very different to any digestives we have tasted before and can imagine they may divide opinions, but we loved them! We can't wait to review the other versions.”

Going back to the pineapple Jaffa Cakes for a minute, Sweet Reviews UK weren’t as impressed by those new McVitie’s biscuits unfortunately.
They wrote: “To be honest the verdict is split in SweetReviewsUK HQ! The pineapple flavour wasn't very strong, which is good in some respects. Feedback was that the taste was rather sweet than overly pineapple tasting. People buying these would expect a stronger pineapple flavour we're sure. They may disappoint some but some others will almost certainly really enjoy.”
