The 2024 European Championships, set to kick-off in Germany on Friday evening, will see a host of big names joining the BBC and ITV coverage both on and off the pitch.

England, touted as pre-tournament favourites, are hoping to end a 58-year wait for another major international trophy from the men's team. This could be manager Gareth Southgate's final opportunity with the Three Lions.

However, they must first bounce back from their recent 1-0 defeat to Iceland in their final warm-up match before the competition begins. Their first group stage clash against Serbia this Sunday presents an ideal chance for redemption.

Following that, they'll take on Denmark and Slovenia in their last two games in Group C. If all goes well, they'll qualify for the knockout stages where they could face a variety of teams depending on their group finish.

But who will be the faces and voices guiding us through the tournament on the country's two biggest channels?

For the BBC, Gary Lineker and Gabby Logan will return as the main presenters. A team of commentators including Guy Mowbray, Jonathan Pearce and Vicki Sparks will head to Germany, joined by Alan Shearer, Jermaine Jenas and Danny Murphy in the commentary box.

The line-up of pundits for the tournament includes former West Ham manager David Moyes, ex-England stars Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Ellen White and Micah Richards, as well as Brentford boss Thomas Frank.
