Meet Your Fitness Match in 2024 Thanks to adidas and Bumble

Don't ditch the new year's fitness resolutions just yet, because adidas and Bumble are about to change the game for good. In partnership with adidas, the dating app is launching a new interest badge called Gym Buddy, to hack intimidation and increase motivation at the gym.

Available on Bumble For Friends and Bumble, the badge enables people to display their fitness enthusiasm on their dating profiles in hopes of connecting and training with other matches.

"Having someone you feel accountable to, [that] is alongside you in the gym, means you work harder and train for longer. When you add to this the physiological safety that comes from having a shared goal and knowing that person is not just physically but also mentally on your side, your motivation gets boosted," Dr. Josephine Perry, a chartered sport and exercise psychologist said in a press release.

Not only is the badge launching in time for Valentine's Day, it's also paired with the release of adidas's Spring/Summer 2024 Strength collection. Made in part with recycled materials, this collection includes high-performance footwear, the "TLRD Impact" sports bra, and "Optime Power" leggings.

You can download the Gym Buddy badge here and shop adidas's newest collection online or at select retailers.
