Meet the man who cleans Liverpool FC stars' shoes for a living

Meet the shoe-cleaner whose brand is "the talk of the Liverpool football training ground".

Scott Quick, 36, opened his shop named Reborn, on Warbreck Moor, Aintree in September 2022. Since then, he's had several celebrity clients as well as more "coming in soon".

The brand "took off straight away", gaining over 12k followers on Instagram and now Scott, from Fazakerley, plans to branch out across the country.

He told the ECHO: "[When we opened] I knew there was a market so I just went for it. In January last year, Fabio Carvalho came into the shop.

"He said he'd come across our place online and said it was the best one. He's been in a few times now."

As well as Liverpool's 21-year-old prospect, Scott's other clients include Reds such as Luis Diaz, Stefan Bajcetic and Adrián as well as reality star Charlotte Dawson. Boxer, Liam Smith has also paid the shop a visit.

He said: "[Adrian] told me the players have been looking at my page at the Liverpool training ground. I've got a few of them coming in after the Euros.

"We are the best in the game, that's why they come to us and have took notice. We must stand out as a brand. And we're not just a shoe-cleaner, we are a brand."

Following the success of his first store, Scott is looking to expand his company. He said: "We're going to be opening more stores in Liverpool very soon. We want the business and are looking to expand the brand across the UK.

"What sets us apart is the fact that we have three different options for buyers: customers can come into the store, take same day delivery (if they're in Liverpool) or have next-day delivery if they're anywhere else in the country. If someone in Liverpool messages us we can be there within 20 mins depending on where we are.

"Our goal is to do collaborations with a big shoe company. We want to conquer the game and we will do, it's just a matter of time."
