Megan Pickford joins England star's famous brother at Euro 2024 for dire Denmark draw

Megan Pickford certainly looked the part as she cheered on husband Jordan on Thursday night, but sadly her dedication to the cause wasn't rewarded with a great performance from England, as they limped to a very uninspiring draw against Denmark in their second game at Euro 2024.

Heralded by some fans as the new 'queen' of the England WAGs, Megan has been on the sidelines for all the big moments in Jordan's career to the date, looking gutted at Wembley three years ago, as he saved two spot kicks in the Euro 2020 final shootout, only for England to lost after missing three penalties.

She made the trip from the north west to Germany on Sunday, telling her childhood sweetheart and other half she was 'so proud' of him as England opened their Euros campaign with a 1-0 win against Serbia. She was seen with injured defender Luke Shaw's girlfriend Anouska Santos at the game, with both of them wearing the white England home kit adorned with the players' names on the back.

And Megan upped the ante on Thursday, when she matched Jordan by donning the same yellow keeper jersey he was wearing on the pitch, as she chatted to Tolami Benson, partner of Bukayo Saka. Megan wasn't the only North East link to the Denmark game either, as Sunderland star Jobe Bellingham was also snapped in his seat at the Deutsche Bank Park stadium in Frankfurt to watch brother Jude, who netted the Three Lions' only goal in their opener a few days earlier.

England fans inside the ground were so disappointed with their teams lacklustre performance, as they blew the chance to qualify and top their group, that boos rang out at full time and it's rather telling that, unlike after Sunday's game when he celebrated a 'solid start' against Serbia, Jordan has yet to post about Thursday's fixture on Instagram.
